Common-place is an independent, nonprofit journal. It is supported primarily by its sponsoring institutions, the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) and the Omohundro Institute of Early American History & Culture. But like all such enterprises, it operates on a very limited budget. We thus invite you to become a “Friend of Common-place,” and have your name or your institution’s name listed on this page. Friends can provide a range of support to Common-place, from direct financial donations to assistance with publicity through link exchanges and other arrangements. We also welcome inquiries from libraries and research institutions inclined to support Common-place by providing access to their collections.
